Morzine is a very family-friendly ski resort, with a great mix of accessible ski slopes at lower altitudes, as well as being a town with plenty of activities for non-skiers in Morzine outside of just skiing, such as indoor swimming pools, luging, ice skating and magical carnivals around Christmas & New Years - take a look at Christmas Ski Deals in Morzine. With children in the Atlas Ski Co family, we know how great Morzine can be for keeping the little ones entertained!
With its popularity for family ski holidays, Morzine has a great selection of family-friendly restaurants to pick from as well.

Pizza or Burger?
There are of course pizza restaurants, such as L’Improviste or Gusto that offer a wide menu of authentic pizzas in a casual setting or for takeaway, as well as pasta dishes.
Our personal favourites are O’Chalet, an American-style burger restaurant with a huge menu, including loaded fries, hotdogs and massive burgers in brioche buns, or Au Bon Coin (Pleney Burger) at the very bottom of the Pleney slopes. Au Bon Coin is more traditional, with crusty burger buns and classic burgers on the menu, but it’s really hard to beat, for lunch or dinner!
Our picks of child-friendly restaurants in Morzine
If you are looking for a more traditional evening in a restaurant, don’t be put off by taking the children. It’s much more common in France for children to dine out with their parents, and most of the restaurants in Morzine offer a children’s menu, usually consisting of something like omelettes or burgers with chips or pasta options and costing around €10.
Le Colibri
A fun family-friendly restaurant in Morzine, open all day and offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. With a really varied menu, with everything from pancakes, towering burgers, buddha bowls & sharing platters, as well as a special kids menu starting from €10, this is a great option for a big group restaurant booking.
Le Clin D’Oeil
Great family-run restaurant serving great French bistro food such as cassoulets, steak frites and also Morzine's best pierre chaude, which if you haven't had it before, is brilliant for a group to get nights flowing. Perfect if you love good French fare. With a very relaxed child-friendly vibe, everyone can settle in and enjoy the evening.
Family-friendly Après?
Look no further than Le Tremplin! Situated right at the bottom of Le Pleney, this is such a great spot for the family to enjoy some Après, with a DJ and a large terrace, Le Tremplin is in the heart of Morzine, so a little bit warmer than at altitude, and with a constant backdrop of people descending the main piste into Morzine, you’re never bored of stuff to watch!
Looking for a mountain top restaurant for the little ones?
The Cookie Cafe is a must visit while skiing. Found at the top of the Mossettes Lift, the highest point of the Portes Du Soleil, take the little ones for a hot chocolate and burger with the most amazing view! Easy to get to, with just 2 lifts out of Lindarets (accessed by Ardent Telecabine, then Lechere and Mossettes chairlift) you can then ski all the way back down on a blue and a green! From the very top to the bottom, this is a cool experience for the whole family - and, as the name suggests, the cookies are amazing!
