The first big days of snowfall are always eagerly welcomed, and this year is no different. Over the next week, a further 36cm of snow is forecast to fall in Morzine, which follows a week of cold temperatures and a big dump of 7cm in just a few hours on Sunday 4th.

Snow is on it's way!
Relying on one snow forecast can be risky, but when two forecasts model that snow is coming, it fills us with confidence.
Snow-forecast.com predicts 72 cm of Snow in Avoriaz from Sunday 8th January to Saturday 14th January 2023.
This is backed up by Wepowder.com, which forecast over 50 cm of snow during the same period.
And it's set to snow in Morzine too!
The town itself is unlikely to get much but from mid-mountain upwards (Pleney and Super Morzine slopes) snow-forecast.com models up to 69 cm of snowfall between Sunday 8th January to Saturday 14th January 2023.
Meanwhile, Wepowder.com forecast that Morzine will have 25 cm of snowfall.
